SERVPRO has several cleaning methods to clean carpets.

Determining the proper cleaning method depends on the results of the pre testing and pre inspection process.

Topical treatments such as a soil retardant or deodorizer are normally applied after the carpet is cleaned.

Carpet cleaning methods in order of aggressiveness are the following:

1. Bonnet Cleaning

2. Hot Water Extraction

3. Deluxe Precondition and Rinse

4. Rotary Jet Extraction

5. Showcase

Here is a guideline for Carpet Cleaning to keep on your calendar. We are happy to pre-plan a pre-set for the months to come.

Office Building & Home - Every 6-12 Months

The main consideration is to clean carpets before they become totally saturated with soil.

If you wait until carpets look really dirty, the carpets can never really be restored to their former appearance.

If water damage occurs such as the photo attached - We will extract all water then set up air movers and dehumidifiers to dry out that area. We always recommend to do carpet cleanings when water damage occurs so we can get two jobs done at once.
